Wyoming-based LUCID Optics first debuted its new C3 Weapons Light at SHOT Show this year, and now it’s being made available to the general public.
Designed for use on a carbine, this unit — which is IPX8 waterproof-rated and shockproof-tested to .458 SOCOM — is built in a matte black 6061 aluminum housing. It features a brightness of 300 lumens and a beam distance of 70 ft, the press release says. The light is 2.75″ long with a 1.5″ mounting length. The overall weight is 2.25 oz.

The light features a simple on/off pressure switch that allows for hands-free operation. It also offers a strobe function that works with the press and hold of the switch. This light is powered by three AAA batteries and boasts a run time of just over three hours of continuous use.
The tough and durable C3 Weapons Light features a Picatinny rail mount and is available at a suggested retail price of just $129.
