Long-range and precision rifle shooting remains a rising trend in the shooting world. Seemingly everyday, a new rifle, cartridge or piece of geaar launches to support those pursuits. Now Luth-AR just announced the release of its newest AR-15 accessory, the Widebody Palm Handguard, one well-suited to distance shooting.
Widebody Palm Handguard
The Widebody Palm Handguard builds on the same ergonomic profile as the company’s popular Palm Handguard. The new forend sports a Widebody profile, conforming to the hand. It provides a wide, flat surface to lay on a shooting bag or other support.
The Widebody Palm Handguard works for hunting, precision shooting or 3-gun. The 15-inch length features M-LOK slots on the upper-side flat. It includes three rows of slots on the bottom flat.
The Widebody utilizes 6061-T6 aluminum, hard coat anodized black. It comes with an alloy steel barrel nut with a Melonite finish.
With M-LOK attachments and a Picatinny top, the handguard provides plenty of utility. But with its flat, wide bottom, for anyone looking for a long-distance upgrade, Luth-AR’s latest handguard deserves a look.
