Building on a 7075 aluminum receiver with black oxide finish, the MAC 2 Tactical is chambered in 12-gauge for 3-inch shells. In addition, the robust construction is built to handle shotshells up through the hardest-hitting magnum loads, according to the company. Likewise, recoil control is managed via the shotgun’s inertia system, providing rapid and accurate follow-up shots.
Featuring an 18.5-inch barrel with black oxide finish, the MAC 2 provides a lengthy 22.5-inch sight radius for increased accuracy. Correspondingly, the barrel accepts multiple chokes and includes three Benelli/Mobil chokes (1, 3, and 5) along with a choke tube wrench.
Sitting atop the barrel are adjustable front and rear metal sights. However, a ten-slot Picatinny rail also allows for attaching reflex or closed emitter red dot optics.
Offering a capacity of 5+1, the MAC 2 is designed to accept the Benelli M2 magazine extension to provide increased capacity. Rounds are easily chambered via the large knurled charging handle, which offers enhanced grip and traction. When not ready to fire, the MAC 2 is made safe via the safety located immediately behind the trigger.
Dressing up the MAC 2 are the Turkish walnut stock and forend with textured panels for secure retention. Correspondingly, the stock features a robust recoil-reducing rubber butt pad, providing a softer shooting experience. Additionally, the shotgun is compatible with a Benelli M2 stock and shim sets for custom drop and cast adjustment.
