The following is a release from Team Colt:
Team Colt shooter Maggie Reese took first place over the weekend at the USPSA Multi-Gun Nationals, winning the Lady’s Open division. The match was held April 24-26 at the Desert Sportsman Rifle and Pistol Club in Las Vegas, Nev.
“We are inspired by Maggie’s success on the national competitive shooting stage,” said Paul Spitale, Senior Vice President of Commercial Business for Colt’s Manufacturing Company, in a statement. “This is an event where Maggie continues to shine. Her win this weekend was an exiting one for Team Colt.”
Reese, a three-time USPSA National Champion, employed her Colt LE6920 for the rifle stages of the match. With more than 225 rifle shots in the match, targets varied from close range out to 400 yards and included paper, self-setter, plate rack and flash targets.
“We shot 12 stages over the course of three days,” Reese said in a statement. “We had sun, high winds, even a little rain, plus lots of dust and dirt. Throughout it all my Colt 6920 ran flawlessly!”
Reese’s next competition will be the Lady 3-Gun Pro-Am Challenge West from April 30 to May 3 in St. George, Utah.
