New for 2014, Magpul has introduced their new AK Grip, as well as the AK Mag, MS1 Sling and Rail Light Mount. Scroll down to watch a video showcasing these new products.
The Magpul AK Grip is a drop-in upgrade for the AK47/AK74 pistol grips which works with both milled and stamped, and reinforced and non-reinforced receivers. The Magpul all-polymer 30-round AK Mag has a ribbed gripping surface, redesigned base plate, marking matrix and more. The polymer version of the mag is out now, with the steel reinforced version to be released soon. The Magpul MS1 Sling is a dedicated two-point sling. Using the MS1 Slider, the shooter can easily adjust for length. With optional adapters, the MS1 Sling can also be converted to a single-point sling.
The Rail Light Mount fits on a standard 1913 Picatinny Rail. It is available in right or left side models and integrates with the Magpul XTM panels. In addition, the weapon light is positioned high and cantilevered forward, at the 11 o’clock or 1 o’clock position, which allows for a more forward support hand position and keeps the light tucked in close to the bore. Barrel shadow is also minimized as a result. The Rail Light Mount, which is constructed of reinforced polymer, allows the shooter to mount Surefire 300 and 600 series scout lights, 1913 Picatinny attachment pistol lights, and all light bodies from 0.75” to 1.03” in diameter using a set of anodized aluminum mounting rings.
