The rifle was developed in response to the growing popularity of the .300 Norma Magnum cartridge, which is gaining in popularity amongst long range shooters. This latest offering is built on the MPA Tactical Chassis System, which features a built-in bubble level, thumb notch, front mounted bridge with upper Picatinny rail and lower mounted Picatinny rail. Also included in this package is MPA’s new Enhanced Vertical Grip.

The MPA 300 Norma also boasts a 26-inch, precision gun drilled, reamed and honed Spencer / MPA rifle barrel made from 416RQ stainless steel. The hand lapped barrel is bore and land inspected via video borescope, the presser says. The chamber is also indicated within 0.0001″ or less to the rifle bore. The Curtis Spiral Fluted One Piece Bolt with DLC coating is also hand lapped and fitted to the individual action.

Meanwhile, this rifle comes with a MPA produced buttstock that features an adjustable length of pull, adjustable cheek riser and monopod. The length of pull and cheek position are secured using a set of screws embedded into the buttstock body. Additionally, the MPA muzzle brake is “indicated on the CNC lathe for zero runout, ensuring long range accuracy,” the company states.
