Matador Arms recently announced a unique pistol caliber conversion kit for AR-15 owners, the Mag-X, P320. Designed for those with SIG Sauer P320 pistols, the Mag-X enables any mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver to run a P320 magazine.

Matador Arms Mag-X Features

To run a P320 magazine in the Max-X, no modifications are required to the lower or the magazine itself. Instead, the Mag-X installs in mere seconds, providing the opportunity to use SIG Sauer P320 magazines. The Mag-X incorporates its own built-in magazine release and locks into place with the standard AR-15 catch.

Matador Arms machines the Mag-X from aircraft-grade aluminum and features an anodized finish. Both the ejector and magazine catch utilize steel construction.

The Mag-X works with and is only compatible with standard, mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers. Further, uppers need to be 9mm with a Glock-pattern cut bolt.

Finally, Matador Arms ships directly to U.S. customers from its warehouse. The Mag-X retails for $149.99.

PCC Boom Continues

As PCC continues to be a growing trend, more and more companies are marketing products to feed that need, including kits that convert AR lowers to 9mm. Only a couple of weeks ago we reported CMMG 9 ARC Magazine Converts .223 Lowers to 9mm. Instead of a well attachment that converted the lower to accept a 9mm magazine, CMMG’s device converts an AR-15 magazine to accept 9mm ammunition.

Meanwhile, major companies continue to roll out new AR-pattern 9mm carbines, other types of sub-guns and now more conversion kits to get 9mm going in ARs. From general plinking to a tremendous increase of competition shooters running PCCs at matches, the PCC boom doesn’t look to slow down anytime soon.
