Mec-Gar has expanded its product line with two new 10-round Browning BDA .380 magazines designed for those of you living in a state that doesn’t allow you to use or possess any magazine in excess of 10 rounds. The company says that while they may “disagree with these restrictive laws and their proposed effectiveness,” it still “wants shooters in those states to be able to continue to use their firearms.”
When it comes to Mec-Gar, it’s all about quality and attention to detail. Indeed, the company use a new dimpling technique on these Browning BDA mags to allow for full-size followers, magazine springs manufactured from Type D music wire, and floor plates. The magazines also feature a high-impact polymer baseplate and a heat-treated tube, as well as numbered witness holes for remaining-round calculation.
Mec-Gar’s 10-round Browning BDA .380 magazines are available in a polished blued or nickel finish to ensure there’s no issues loading and feeding into the pistol. In addition, the magazine bodies are manufactured from carbon steel.
The blued Browning BDA mag is available for $31.10, while the nickel version has a retail price of $33.85.
