Left to Right, Top to Bottom: Glock 34 Gen4 In MOS Configuration, Glock 35 Gen4 In MOS Configuration, Glock 40 Gen4 In MOS Configuration, Glock 41 Gen4 In MOS Configuration
The 9mm Glock 34 Gen4 in MOS Configuration has a barrel length of 5.31 inches, a loaded weight with a standard-capacity, 17-round magazine at around 33 ounces and a trigger pull weight of 4.5 pounds. A larger reversible magazine catch and extended slide stop lever are a few of the enhancements standard on this model. The frame also incorporates a rail for mounting external lighting devices, such as white lights and/or lasers.
Chambered in .40 S&W, the Glock 35 Gen4 in MOS Configuration’s size parameters closely match those of the old Government Model 1911, but with twice the ammunition capacity with its standard magazines—16 rounds versus eight! As with all Gen4 GLOCKs, this pistol has the full, 360-degree, high-traction grip surface, which makes it easier to firmly control the pistol during rapid fire. The dual recoil spring assembly, calibrated to the .40 S&W cartridge, reduces felt recoil and serves to protect the frame over thousands of rounds.
Brand new for 2015, this Glock shoots the powerful 10mm Auto cartridge out of a superb cold-hammer-forged, 6.02-inch barrel. This barrel length allows the 10mm Auto to reach its maximum velocity and energy potential. This pistol will be highly sought after by deer and wild boar hunters, and it would be a perfect Glock for self-defense against dangerous game, such as wild bear. Its standard magazine holds 15 hard-hitting 10mm Auto rounds.
This Glock comes in “America’s Caliber,” the venerable yet still potent .45 ACP. It melds the “Practical/Tactical” design concept to a big-bore cartridge, resulting in maximum performance. Inherent in the Gen4 design is the Glock Multiple Backstrap System (MBS), which allows a user to adjust the size of the grip to fit the individual operator’s hand. A total of four available backstraps guarantee complete adaptability.
GLOCK has once again exponentially expanded the choices shooters have with the introduction of the Modular Optic System (MOS) Configuration for a number of GLOCK models. In a nutshell, GLOCK engineers altered the external profile of the GLOCK slide to accept mounting plates to accommodate the different “footprints” of the popular mini reflex sights available on the market. A number of popular mini reflex sights can be mounted, including those from Trijicon , Leupold and C-More , on GLOCKs with the MOS Configuration slides.
