The binoculars utilize high-definition, extra-low dispersion flouride glass. MeoBright lens coatings help deliver maximum resolution and contrast with bright images and vivid colors, according to Meopta. The company’s MeoShield anti-abrasion lens coating offers protection in the field. Meanwhile, MeoDrop hydrophobic lens coatings repel rain, dust and grease from exposed surfaces. A lightweight magnesium-alloy body protects the internals. Finally, a durable rubber armoring gives a non-slip grip.

“The Air takes the MeoPro line to the next level of performance,” said Pavel Stastny, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at Meopta. “It has a new, modern look and feel.  The open-bridge design is extremely comfortable and easy to hold for prolonged periods while glassing, and the optical performance is simply unparalleled at this price point.”

The diopter adjustment integrates into the top end of the focus knob. Twist-up eyecups remove for cleaning, and the system works with or without glasses. Both models come tripod adapter ready. Nitrogen purged and fully sealed, they should stand up to any weather thrown at them.

The 8×42 retails for $979, while the 10×42 retails for $999. For even more info, please visit meoptasportsoptics.com.
