Update: The Montana Mega Mansion sold on March 18, 2021, for an undisclosed amount of money. Must be nice to be rich.
For most of us, the various COVID-19 lockdowns and quarantines have sucked; there’s no other way to put it. Society is slowly starting to return to form, but since mid-March, there wasn’t much to do. Getting to gun ranges was pretty much out of the question with most closed. But what if we had our own? Well, we could have our own without even leaving our house … that is, if we also had close to $14 million burning a hole in our pockets. Yep, we found a Montana mega mansion for sale with its very own indoor shooting range.
The $14M Montana Mega Mansion
Real estate website Trulia has the Billings, Mont., mansion listed at $13,950,000. So it’s not quite $14 million — what a bargain. But what does that kind of cheddar get you?
For starters, the mansion looks like a freaking castle from the outside. Overall, it’s a 30,000 square-foot property with 10 bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, a 14-car garage, and what appears to be a full gym. Oh, we almost forgot the three pools and the swim-up bar, because why not?
The luxury doesn’t end there. Apparently the architects built the lower level of the house strictly for entertainment. If features a full bar, a theater with 12 fully reclining seats, a two-lane bowling alley, and even a golf simulator. All of that is truly insane and one would never have to leave their home. But for gun lovers like us, the pièce de résistance is the indoor shooting range.
Spiral staircases and luxury appliances are great and all, but our own indoor shooting range? Are you serious? The description says the shooting range can be securely accessed via two bank vault doors. According to photos, the two-lane range features plenty of gun storage; the kind of storage one would expected for someone who can afford a $14 million home. Each lane also has a TV monitor.
It’s tough to say a house is worth $14 million, but this one actually might be. We posted one photo above of the actual mansion just to give you a taste, but we recommend scrolling through the gallery on Trulia so you can daydream as we did. Also, we’ll be starting a GoFundMe to raise the eight figures we’ll need to buy this house.
