MC1sc Stainless Two-Tone: Mossberg Adds 2 Handguns to New Lineup

Mossberg recently announced its newest addition to the MC1 pistol line: The MC1sc Stainless Two-Tone. The Mossberg MC1sc comes in both standard-frame and cross-bolt safety frame variants. The two-tone models join the popular family of Mossberg MC1sc pistols, the first semi-auto handguns from Mossberg in 100 years.

The MC1sc Stainless Two-Tone features a bead-blasted, stainless steel slide over a matte black polymer frame. The stainless steel slide features aggressive multi-angle serrations for positive slide manipulation. Dovetail-mounted, low-profile white 3-dot sights top the slide. The frame features glass-reinforced polymer for high impact and chemical resistance. The 3.4-inch stainless steel barrel features a black DLC finish and 1:16 twist rate. An optional cross-bolt safety comes reversible for right- or left-handed shooters.

Additional standard features include a flat-profile trigger with integrated blade safety, short reset, reduced overtravel and 5- to 6-pound pull weight, according to Mossberg. The oversized trigger guard provides ease of access and comfort. All MC1sc models come with a flush five-round and extended seven-round Clear-Count magazine. The magazines utilize a transparent, lubricious polymer for both visibility and low friction. MC1sc pistols also include a reversible magazine release, located behind the trigger guard. Meanwhile, the grip features an added palm swell and grip angle similar to a 1911. Finally, Mossberg’s Safe Takedown System (STS) eliminated the need to pull the trigger during disassembly.
