Mossberg SA Series Shotguns Adds 20- and 28-Gauge Turkey Slayers

Only recently, Mossberg released updated pump-action turkey models. Those 500 and 835 variants added to the highly impressive 940 Pro Turkey semi-auto. Now the SA Series adds fully camouflaged SA-20 and SA-28 shotguns. Three different models deliver some versatility in design. These shotguns comprise lightweight systems for the mobile hunter.

Each SA Series shotgun utilizes a gas operating system that vents excess gases. The design reduces recoil for the shooter and decreases stress on components, according to Mossberg. Each gun delivers a five-round capacity overall. The 20-gauge comes with a 3-inch chamber, while 28-gauge guns measure 2.75-inch. Each vent-rib shotgun comes with an interchangeable choke tube system. An Extended Turkey choke tube ships with each shotgun. Barrels come topped with a fiber-optic ghost ring sight. A Picatinny rail gives the option of mounting optics. A cross-bolt safety, extended charging handle and easy-load elevator round out the features.
