New For 2015: Colt’s Next-Gen M.A.R.C.901 Rifles

Early in 2015, Colt introduced the M.A.R.C.901 family of rifles. Each new rifle in the M.A.R.C. 901 (Modular AR Carbine 901) family is an evolution of the LE901-16S unveiled a few years ago, which means the upper receiver group can be easily swapped out for any Colt upper receiver chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO with a special conversion kit (sold separately). The bolt and magazine controls are ambidextrous for flexibility and ease of use.

Be it for whitetail hunting in Maine, target practice at the range or law enforcement use, the Colt’s M.A.R.C.901 rifles have the power and versatility you need. Each rifle features a free-floating, 16.1-inch, chrome-lined barrel, and users can now find their perfect balance with customized mounting of accessories such as optics, bipods, lasers and more. The LE901-16SE sports a user-configurable, one-piece upper receiver and comes with backup sights. Out front, the rifle has a flash suppressor and a bayonet lug. The AR901-16S features a user-configurable tubular handguard that surrounds the free-floating barrel. As with all M.A.R.C.901 series rifles, the AR901-16S can be used with 5.56mm Colt uppers for more versatility. The original in the series, the LE901-16S is outfitted with a one-piece upper receiver with four Picatinny rails and backup iron sights. This rifle also has ambidextrous controls, a free-floating barrel, a bayonet lug and a flash suppressor.
