These guns are SR-25-type AR-platform rifles with billet-crafted uppers and lowers CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. Some of the standard features include enlarged triggerguards and single-stage CMC triggers. The base rifle, the all-black DB10B, features a heavy, 16-inch barrel that is threaded and capped with a JP Enterprises compensator. An A2-type birdcage will also be available to help reduce the muzzle flash. The barrel and bolt on this black gun have been Melonited for extreme corrosion resistance. The stock and pistol grip are standard Magpul MOE gear, and no sights ship with the rifle.
A step up from the DB10B is the new DB10EFDE, Diamondback’s “Elite” Flat Dark Earth 7.62mm NATO rifle, which features the same billet-crafted upper and lower receivers but a few upgrades. First, the buttstock is a Magpul PRS (Precision Rifle/Sniper), which is highly adjustable for optimum precision. The rifle also features an ambidextrous charging handle, a KeyMod handguard, and an 18-inch barrel, which has been Melonited (like the bolt) for enhanced durability.
