The Ruger LCRx revolver lineup just got a boost with the addition of four new models in 9mm Luger, .327 Fed. Mag, and .22 WMR.
The .22 WMR chambering for the Ruger LCRx is offered in two versions: one with a three-inch barrel and one with a 1.87-inch barrel. The three-inch-barreled model includes a larger Hogue Tamer monogrip, as well as a pinned front sight, adjustable black blade rear sight and an overall weight, length and height of 17.8 ounces, 7.50 inches and 5.80 inches, respectively. The 1.87-inch barreled version includes a U-notch integral rear sight, smaller Hogue Tamer monogrip, overall weight of 15.4 ounces, height of 4.50 inches and length of 6.50 inches. Both revolvers sport a PVD cylinder finish and a 6-shot capacity. The MSRP on each is $579.
Meanwhile, the Ruger LCRx in 327 Fed Mag also features a 1.87-inch barrel, Hogue Tamer Monogrip, pinned front and U-Notch integral rear sights, PVD cylinder finish, overall weight of 17.7 ounces, height of 4.50 inches and length of 6.50 inches, and a 6-shot capacity. The MSRP on this one is $669.
Lastly, the 9mm Luger Ruger LCRx has all the same bells and whistles as the 327 Fed Mag version, but at a slightly lighter weight of 17.4 ounces and a 5-shot capacity. This model is also priced at $669.
Introduced in 2013, the Ruger LCRx has an external hammer—hence the “x” in the name—that enables it to be fired in single-action mode. It features a polymer fire control housing, an aluminum monolithic frame, and an extensively fluted stainless steel cylinder. Also included here is a double-action-only trigger pull that is engineered with Ruger’s patented friction reducing cam fire control system.
