Taurus G2S Build

Available in two slide configurations — matte black and matte stainless steel — the G2S is small enough to be considered a compact, but delivers grip and ergonomics comparable with larger handguns. This is due largely to the polymer frame and “sticky” stippling patches strategically placed along the grip.

The trigger guard and smooth edging allows both small- and large-hand shooters to obtain a secure grip in all shooting conditions. Even better, its light weight — 20.25 ounces loaded — and compact design make it easy to carry all day.

The Taurus G2S also features slide serrations and three white-dot sights. Even better, the rear sights are fully adjustable for both windage and elevation.

The G2S is a striker-fired semi-auto, using a single-action trigger with re-strike capabilities. Additionally, it comes with a manual safety and an accessories rail for attaching lights or lasers.

Most compact handguns are a compromise of carrying size and shooting abilities. With the G2S, Taurus believes it has removed that equation in everyday carry.
