Night Optics Introduces the Sentry 14 1x 4G Night Vision Monocular

Night Optics USA, a night vision gear maker based out of Oroville, Calif., has rolled out its new Sentry 14 1x 4G night vision monocular.

Boasting crystal-clear, 4G tube technology, the Sentry 14 1x 4G enhances low-light detection and recognition ranges. The system can be hand held or helmet mounted for hands-free navigation. When combined with a spotting scope, target detection will extend past 600 yards. It can also be weapon mounted when coupled with a daytime CQB sight or an IR laser.

“The simple yet reliable, three-position switch allows users to easily toggle between off, on and momentary settings,” Ben Bainter, Night Optics’ product manager, said in a statement. “Plus, constant IR and manual gain control make the 4G’s low halo factor the perfect fit for virtually all light levels.”

Touted as being ideal for a wide variety of scenarios, the lightweight, rugged and Mil-Spec Sentry 14 1x 4G is waterproof to 66 feet and runs 40 hours on one AA battery. It also accommodates a number of accessories, including the company’s IR-K2 Pro Extra Long-Range IR Illuminator; 3x or 5x Mil-Spec Afocal Night Vision Lens; iPhone and night vision camera adaptors; quick-release weapon mount and more.

The Sentry 14 1x 4G night vision monocular is available for $4,549.99.
