Nighthawk Custom just announced the release of a new line of pistols, the Tactical Ready Series. Built to deliver high-capacity handguns, the Tactical Ready Series includes the TRS Commander, for concealed carry, and the Nighthawk TRS Comp, built to compete.

Nighthawk TRS Comp Details

The TRS Comp becomes the company’s first full-size pistol designed around a double-stack frame. It brings a 17+1 capacity and utilizes Nighthawk’s integrated Fire Hawk compensator. The Fire Hawk features a port in the compensator to reduce muzzle flip, helping shooters stay on target for faster follow up shots.

“Up until this point, we have only offered a double stack as an upgrade,” says Mark Stone, owner and CEO of Nighthawk Custom. “With the current demand in the market, releasing a permanent double stack series meets consumer demands and shows customers what we can do with a double stack.”

The TRS Comp features a match-grade 5-inch barrel on a government-sized frame with a monolithic slide. A full-length dust cover gives the pistol added weight up front, aiding in reducing muzzle flip. The entire pistol wears a black nitride finish. The solid stainless steel trigger comes with a serrated flat face, providing a non-slip surface.

Up front, an 18K gold bead front sight pairs with a Heine Ledge Black rear sight. The pistol includes unique dimples at the rear of the slide, matching the pattern of the grip.
