Nikon is introducing its new M-300 BLK Riflescope designed to bolster the performance of the .300 AAC Blackout cartridge while using supersonic and subsonic ammunition.

According to the press release, the Nikon M-300 BLK Riflescope comes in 1.5-6×42 magnification with a 30mm tube diameter for a wide adjustment range. This riflescope also comes with Nikon’s BDC SuperSub reticle which may be calibrated for .300 Blackout supersonic ammo. The reticle offers the end user open circle aiming points out to 600 yards, at 100-yard increments, with additional hash-marks at 50-yard distances. In addition, shooters can compensate for bullet drop while using subsonic ammo by using Nikon’s Spot On Ballistic Match Technology.

The Nikon M-300 BLK riflescope comes in illuminated and non-illuminated reticle variants. Designed for use in low light situations, the illuminated reticle operates on a 3V lithium battery and can be adjusted to different brightness settings using push buttons on the eyepiece. There are 32 levels of intensity for the orange center dot.

To make adjustments, the shooter can simply use Nikon’s spring-loaded instant zero-reset turrets. “Just sight in at 100 yards, then lift the adjustment knob, rotate to your “zero,” and re-engage,” the press release reads. “Hand-turn reticle adjustments are made in ¼-inch (@ 100 yards) click-stop moves that can be felt and heard.”

The M-300 BLK riflescope from Nikon is waterproof and fogproof. The MSPR for the non-illuminated reticle model is $699.95. The illuminated reticle version has an MSRP of $899.95.
