For many women a public range can actually be the one barrier to picking up a gun, simply because they don’t know what to expect. Join host Natalie Foster on NRAWomen as she explains how to make a first timer’s trip to the range educational, stress-free and FUN!

In the video the do’s and don’ts are pointed out when visiting the range for the first time: wear proper gear such as pants, a hat and if possible no low cut shirts, in order to remain protected. If low cut shirt is worn, a jacket or a scarf can be used to cover and protect exposed lower neck area.

#1 – Always treat a firearm as if it’s loaded
#2 – Finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot
#3 – Always point your gun downrange
