I guess it was bound to happen. The people who cry the loudest about “but my democracy” are always the first to find a way around it. In this case, due to the overwhelming unpopularity of gun control, the Biden Administration is creating an executive office to curtail the Second Amendment. The new office is called the Office of Gun Violence Prevention and will be headed by VP Kamala Harris.

Biden Creates the Office of Gun Violence Prevention

Remember when you could go into the airport with your family and see them onto a plane? Not to mention, people could fly with their pocketknives without issue. There was no security gate that would feel you up. You walked to your flight gate, hugged your family, and got on the plane.

Now, you can’t even carry fingernail clippers with you. And you have to say goodbye to your family outside before getting frisked like a common criminal. What changed? In 2002, the executive office of DHS was formed.

While executive-level offices do not wield supreme authority, they face little resistance. Especially from administrations friendly to their “mission.” The DHS is a prime example.

And don’t even get me started about HHS and COVID.

Not to mention, how many ATF “rules” are we currently being subjected to? And they aren’t even an executive office. They are only a federal law enforcement agency. Yet, it is now “illegal” to own a pistol stabilizing brace.

Now, the Biden Administration has cooked up the same “executive office” scheme for gun control, and the gun-grabbers love it. Especially since the entire office will be made up of the who’s who of gun control.

According to reports, coordination in the office will be between the “White House, the Community Justice Action Fund, and Everytown for Gun Safety.”

Breitbart News reports, “She [Shannon Watts of Moms Demand Action] added, ‘A governmental focal point dedicated to creating a framework for overseeing national policy, research and resources would be more than symbolic — it would be a significant turning point for the movement.’”

White House adviser Stefanie Feldman told Reuters, “(Biden) believes that now is the moment to accelerate our work … which is why he is establishing this office.”

They know what they have.

VP Kamala Harris to Head Office of Gun Violence Prevention

I’m sure nobody needs to be reminded that Kamala Harris was responsible for releasing violent criminals through her bail fund. So, it’s kind of weird that she is the one chosen to head an office aimed at violence prevention. Yet, here we are.

According to Politico, “Vice President Kamala Harris will lead a new federal office of gun violence prevention, the White House said Thursday.”

Frankly, I have yet to see a violent criminal that Democrats didn’t like. So, that begs the question, who exactly will this new office target? If you’ve been paying attention at all in the past couple of years, you know the answer is not “criminals.”

After her recent attempt at suspending the Constitution, New Mexico Governor Lujan Grisham even admitted that it wouldn’t impact criminals. What a weird way to tell American citizens that gun control is about controlling law-abiding gun owners and not criminals. Please tell us more about how this new office is all about curbing “gun violence” by going after people who have never used a firearm inappropriately.

But, VP Harris seems quite happy to be handed the keys to this new office.

In the Politico report, Harris stated, “The new Office of Gun Violence Prevention will play a critical role in implementing President Biden’s and my efforts to reduce violence to the fullest extent under the law, while also engaging and encouraging Congressional leaders, state and local leaders, and advocates to come together to build upon the meaningful progress that we have made to save lives.”

This is nothing but a bunch of hyperbolic claptrap from the party whose cities are rife with violent crime. Make no mistake, you are their target.

The CCRKBA Responds

Ironically enough, the announcement came the same day that CCRKBA (Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms) began its Gun Rights Conference. And the fact that this new office would be paid for by taxpayers does not sit well with the organization.

Alan Gottlieb, Chairman of CCRKBA stated, “I am appalled that Joe Biden is putting the gun prohibition lobby on the White House payroll. I know that many pro-gun rights members of Congress are working on legislation to prohibit funding for this obnoxious scheme.”

Let’s hope he is right and this is shut down before it gets off the ground. However, if they’re unsuccessful, the next Republican to enter the White House needs to dismantle the office and fire everyone. Immediately upon entering office.
