Phoenix Weaponry Integrally Suppressed Shotgun System
The system comes in two different models, dubbed “Cindy” and “Eliza.” The Cindy fits either the Mossberg 500 or Remington 870. Meanwhile, the Eliza features full enhancement, along with the integrally suppressed barrel, according to Phoenix Weaponry.
The company says the system works on any pump-action, bolt-action, semi-auto or full-auto shotgun. It comes after years of testing and development, including tens of thousands of test rounds.
“We have achieved the perfect balance between sound suppression, ability to change your chokes, and ammo functionality up to 3.5-inch shells,” said Aaron Cayce, Owner, Phoenix Weaponry. “You can use everything from buckshot to birdshot and even slugs through our integrally suppressed shotguns.”
The system works off a factory shotgun barrel. Phoenix removes the sight rib where the suppressor will mount. Sporting clays-style ports get machined into the side of the barrel. Next comes a rear sleeve cap, installed along with the front suppressor threads. Finally, Phoenix installs a 6-inch Delta Mono Core suppressor. A suppressor sleeve and end cap complete the system.
