Boasting the same architecture and interior dimensions of Plano’s popular model 1612 ammo box, the Model 109160 sports upgraded military-grade performance specifications common to Plano’s premium Field Locker series of cases. Each Field Locker mil-spec case has been certified by an accredited test facility as meeting military standards for immersion, dust, vibration and transit drop.
“The new Field Locker Waterproof Ammo Box takes the .50 cal. Plano’s thick and durable Field Locker mil-spec cases are watertight and dustproof. They feature secure sealing with premium dry-loc caskets coupled with exact measurements to ensure case contents aren’t adversely affected by water and dirty environments. These cases are also further protected via a pressure release valve that equalizes pressure divergence caused by altitude or temperature, the press release says.
Furthering the military-grade theme, the Model 109160 also features molded heavy-duty handles and clamp-down latches, as well as steel-reinforced padlock gates that boost safety and security.
