Polymer80 has introduced the PF940v2 Glock-compatible 80 percent pistol frame for those of you out there looking to build your own functioning firearm from the comfort of home.
An update to its popular PF940v1 frame, Polymer80’s next-gen PF940v2 boasts a slimmer grip available with an aggressive texture or blank ReadyMod style; double undercut on the trigger guard; and a stainless steel rear rail module. This model also comes with a Picatinny/STANAG rail that features an embedded blank serialization plate.
Just like the PF940v1, the PF940v2 kit comes with a finishing jig, along with drill bits and an end mill.
“We’ve been conducting PF940v2 range tests for two months now,” Mike Guttridge, Polymer80’s VP of product, said in a press release. “The aftermarket product compatibility tests have been concluded as well, and we feel confident to start the initial production.”
The PF940v2 is compatible with 3-pin components for the 9mm Glock 17, 17L and 34; .40 S&W Glock 22, 24 and 35; and the Glock 31 in .357 Sig.
The company says you can expect the PF940v2 to be brought to market sometime in the fall. No word on the MSRP, but you can pre-order it now from select dealers.
