The system delivers a metric-based ACSS reticle. It provides the user with an intuitive holdover system, including built-in ranging and wind-holds. The optic excels on targets from up close out to 800 meters.
The SLx 1-6×24 SFP riflescope includes a brightly illuminated reticle. It comes waterproof, fog-proof and durable, according to Primary Arms. A full lifetime warranty backs it up.
The ACCS AURORA 5.56 M reticle utilizes ACCS’ innovative technology with meter-oriented measurements. “The ACSS Aurora 5.56 M is an advanced meter-based version of the famed ACSS reticle,” said Dimitri Mikroulis, creator of the ACSS system. “ACSS Aurora 5.56 M enhances hit ratio with improved range estimation, wind holds, movement leads and a highly calibrated BDC for the 5.56 cartridge.”
The Aurora’s design improves a marksman’s engagement times and accuracy at any distance, according to Primary Arms. The center chevron provides an precise point of aim for close targets. Meanwhile, the auto-ranging ballistic holdovers show point of impact from 300 to 800 meters. Wind correction holds include 400 to 800 meters at 5 mph and 10 mph intervals. Holdolvers for this reticle come calibrated to match 5.56 NATO, .308 Win., 5.45×39 and 6.8 SPC.
