The lightweight construction of the SLx houses the new ACSS Griffin X Mil reticle and an eight-time zoom ratio. With an intuitive auto-ranging BDC stadia, the SLx fits the ballistics for common cartridges like 5.56×45 NATO, 5.45×39, .30 Winchester, 6.5 Grendel and many more.
The ACSS (Advanced Combined Sighting System) Griffin X Mil reticle is a simplified MIL Grid reticle and provides low power variable optics. An integrated MIL-grid holdover system, coupled with a bold outer horseshoe and center chevron, offers enhanced flexibility. As a result, this flexibility makes moving between cartridges and rifle systems seamless.
The low power variable optic (LPVO) features full red reticle illumination that remains visible, even in daylight. Additionally, the quick focus eyepiece and finger adjustable turrets (topped by their new turret caps) assure quick target acquisition. Also, the low profile ensures a small footprint in your rifle case.
The magnification range can be quickly adjusted via a moveable and replaceable magnification ring fin. The first focal plane construction allows for a small red-dot style reticle at low magnification, for close quarters engagement. However, this does not sacrifice the features and accuracy of the ACSS reticle system when you bring the magnification back up, according to Primary Arms.
