VIDEO: First Look at the Remington 700 PCR Enhanced Precision Rifle

Precision shooting is a segment of the firearms world that is certainly trending upward … cough, Ballistic Precision, cough, cough. Remington is one manufacturer you should keep an eye on in crowded and growing field of precision companies. In 2018, Remington released its 700 PCR (Precision Chassis Rifle), which we thoroughly enjoyed. At SHOT Show 2020, the manufacturer very quietly released its upgraded model, appropriately called the Remington 700 PCR Enhanced.

Remington 700 PCR Enhanced Details

While everyone else got their first look at the new Remington 700 PCR Enhanced at SHOT Show 2020, we actually saw it back in October at the 2019 Athlon Outdoors Rendezvous. The first feature we liked was the MDT skeletonized buttstock, which allows for adjustable length of pull and comb height; something becoming incredibly common in the precision shooting world, but appreciated, nonetheless. The MDT stock was very comfortable.

Another feature that caught our eye is the mag well. Remington cut out the left side for an easier mag-loading process. Might sound simple or kind of like a “so what?” feature, but you realize the importance when you don’t have to readjust your shooting position when reloading. With a five-round mag, it probably wouldn’t matter, but the 700 PCR Enhanced comes with a 10-round mag, so it does.

The 700 PCR Enhanced will first be available in 6mm, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .308 Win. Lastly is MSRP, which comes in around $1,249. There are tons of other features to like about the new rifle. We spoke with Remington Public Relations Manager Eric Suarez at the 2019 Athlon Outdoors Rendezvous. Watch the video above for his full rundown on the rifle.
