RISE Armament recently announced the release of its newest AR-15 trigger, the Rave 140. As a second generation of the RISE Armament RA-140 Super Sporting Trigger (SST), the RISE Rave 140 provides a drop-in design with anti-walk pins, all at an affordable price.

The Rave 140 features a smooth, crisp break and a short Quik-Klik reset. Meanwhile, the curved trigger blade sits farther back for greater trigger control. For those who prefer a flat trigger blade, you’re in luck. It also comes with a straight, flat trigger blade as the Rave 140 Flat.
“Continuous improvement is one of our company values, and you see that in action with the Rave 140,” said Matt Torres, president of RISE Armament. “The RA-140 was an incredible trigger, but we’ve made the Rave 140 even better.”
Installation comes fast and simply with no set screws to tighten. The trigger also includes free anti-walk pins to ensure secure installation. It sports a sleek, updated appearance to accompany its enhanced design.
Featuring a single-stage, 3-5-pound trigger pull, the Rave 140 resides within an anodized housing machined from 6061 aluminum. It proves more durable and longer lasting than punch-tin housings to help the trigger perform flawlessly, according to RISE.
Like all RISE triggers, the 140 is precision machined and individually fine-tuned by hand and inspected. The Rave 140 fits AR-style platforms built to mil-spec dimensions and is available in .223/5.56, .308, 6.5 and 9mm calibers. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the Rave 140 retails for just $139.
