The Riton Optics 5 PRIMAL 10×42 ED Binocular
Constructed of 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy with rubberized coating, the 5 PRIMAL maintains a lightweight of 1.67 pounds, with Type III hard coat anodized coating. Likewise, the binocular is dry nitrogen purged and sealed to provide optimal performance in any weather condition. Similarly, the IPX7 waterproof rating allows the unit to withstand submersion in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes, unaffected.
Housed within the body is Riton’s premium ED (extra-low dispersion) glass. As a result, the binocular delivers 99.5% light transmission with extra-low dispersion for an enhanced color spectrum. In addition, Riton’s proprietary fully multi-coated lenses provide low light enhancement, full wide band, anti-scratch, and anti-reflective performance.
The 10x magnification and 42mm objective lens diameter offer a wide field of view of 348 feet at 1,000 yards. Correspondingly, the BaK4 prism system ensures a clear image for positive target identification. Finally, the adjustable eyepieces, large center focus wheel, and diopter are designed with a focus on adjustability and comfort.
