The Rock Island Armory TAC 2011 VZ is available for purchase as a single-stack pistol chambered in .45 ACP with a five-inch barrel and a 1 in 16″ twist.

Similar to the single-stack 10mm and the high-capacity .45 or 9mm, the single-stack .45 ACP model is full-featured with a number of appealing upgrades, including an ambidextrous safety, combat hammer, and an extended beavertail for maximum comfort and safety. The .45 ACP has a 2-dot adujustable rear LPA sight and tru-glo high visability front sights. In addition, the firearm is equipped with front and back wide-angled slide serrations, tactical rail and the new VZ grip making this gold standard of Tactical 2011s.

This TAC 2011 also comes with VZ Operator II grips which have an aggressive golfball pattern and a thumb recess for the magazine release. The pistol also has a parkerized frame and slide, an 8-round capacity, a trigger pull of four to six pounds, an unloaded weight of 2.82 pounds and a loaded weight of 3.25 pounds.
