Rock River Arms Releases LAR-22 Series of Rimfire Rifles

Rock River Arms recently announced the release of a new rimfire rifle series, the LAR-22. Moreover, the LAR-22 comes in three different variants. Also, Rock River designed each model to serve for general interest shooting and training. Each model takes advantage of low-cost, .22 LR ammunition.

LAR-22 Tactical Carbine

The LAR-22 Tactical Carbine features a free-float barrel and handguard. Also, the Tactical Carbine provides the choice between a forged aluminum upper and lower receiver set or a polymer set for lower cost. Both rifles feature a RRA NSP-2 six-position CAR stock, Hogue rubber grip and two-stage trigger. Additionally, the handguard utilizes M-LOK attachment points; inside, the rifle utilizes a 16-inch chrome moly barrel.

LAR-22 Mid AR

The Mid A4 serves as a more traditional AR-style rifle. The Mid A4 features the same choice between forged aluminum or polymer receiver sets. Also, the rifle includes standard A2 grips and a mid-length handguard with heat shields. Also, the Mid A4 utilizes a six-position CAR stock, single-stage trigger and 16-inch chrome moly barrel.

LAR-22 NM A4 CMP Trainer

The NM A4 CMP Trainer serves as a practice gun for CMP National Match-type competition. The rifle combines a precision 20-inch stainless steel heavy barrel with Rock River’s NM CMP TRO free-float rifle-length handguard. The handguard also includes three TRO modular rails and a National Match swivel. Additionally, the CMP Trainer features a RRA Two-Stage Match chrome trigger group. Finally, forged aluminum receivers, an A2 pistol grip and CAR six-position stock round out the package.
