Three New Models of Ruger Birdshead-Style Wrangler Revolvers
The new Wranglers come in three different models. All the new models share a 3.75” cold hammer-forged barrel and Ruger Birdshead-pattern grip frame. Differentiating them are their available colors, with three options available: black, silver, or burnt bronze. All the finishes are Cerakote.
Each Ruger Birdshead-Style Wrangler Revolvers has a blade front sight as well as an integral notch rear sight. The Wranglers also come standard with black grip panels that can be swapped for aftermarket Ruger Birdshead-pattern grips. The revolvers fit in Single-Six style holsters for guns with a 3.75″ barrel. Additionally, all Wranglers feature a transfer bar mechanism and loading gate interlock that provide a unique measure of security against negligent discharge. The excellent price, combined with the affordability and availability of rimfire ammunition, make this revolver optimal for learning to shoot or introducing friends or family to the sport. Of course, you can also just enjoy the fun of single action shooting with the Ruger Wrangler.
Ruger’s roots run deep when it comes to single action revolvers. Bill Ruger introduced the Single Six in 1953, pioneering the use of investment casting to make strong, affordable wheelguns. That legacy continues today in fact, featuring an extensive lineup of single action revolvers from the Wrangler Revolvers all the way to the monster Super Blackhawk.
