New Ruger Custom Shop Releases High-Grade 10-22, SR1911

The new Ruger Custom Shop dropped its inaugural offerings recently, releasing high-grade versions of the company’s popular 10-22 and SR1911.

Ruger tapped competitive shooters, hunters and award-winning writers, along with its own team of engineers, to develop exclusive firearms for competition, hunting and personal defense. Custom Shop offerings begin with the launch of the SR1911 Competition Pistol and 10/22 Competition Rifle.

Ruger Custom Shop SR1911

Developed with input from Ruger Shooting Team Captain Doug Koenig, the Custom Shop SR1911 features a full-sized frame and is chambered in 9 mm. The pistol is built to compete in IDPA, IPSC, USPSA, Bianchi Cup and more.

The SR1911 features a Koenig Shooting Sports low-mass hammer and competition sear, flat-faced trigger shoe, precision-machined disconnector and hand-tuned sear spring. A hand-fitted slide and upgraded sights and magazine well round out the package.

Ruger Custom Shop 10/22 Competition Rifle

The Custom Shop 10/22 features a hard-coat anodized, CNC-machined aluminum receiver, topped with a 30 MOA Picatinny rail for optics. The receiver includes a second bedding lug, and the barrel is free floated. The Ruger BX-Trigger should provide smooth take-up and a crisp break.
