Ruger is expanding their line of SR-Series pistols with the announcement of the 9E Centerfire pistol. Chambered in 9mm Luger, the Ruger 9E has a 4.14″ barrel with a 1:10″ twist. It also has an overall length of 7.50″, a width of 1.27″, a 10+1 or 17+1 magazine capacity (depending on the model), and a weight of 27.20 oz.
The Ruger 9E comes with a number of appealing features, including a reversible backstrap (flat or arched) which enables shooters to customize the size and feel of the grip without having to use special tools or separate inserts, an integral rail for mounting lights, lasers and other accessories, a dovetailed 3-dot sight system with a raked-forward front sight and fixed rear sight, an alloy steel slide with a Black Oxide finish, a Black glass-filled nylon grip frame, an ambidextrous safety, and much more.
