Ruger certainly isn’t gun-shy (no pun intended — OK, maybe a little bit intended) about releasing new products, with a bunch already announced for 2017. One of the new models we had the opportunity to check out at SHOT Show this year in Las Vegas is the GP100 in .44 Special.

The five-shot, big-bore GP100 revolver sports a three-inch, full-shrouded barrel; fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights; a black rubber Hogue Monogrip with no finger grooves, which reduces recoil and fits all hand sizes and shapes; and a grip frame that is compatible with a number of different custom grips.
The double-action GP100 in .44 Special also comes in a satin stainless finish and features a stainless steel construction; weighs in at 36 ounces; and has an overall length of 8.50 inches. It is available at a manufacturer suggested retail price of $829. If you’re a big-bore revolver fan, we think you’re gonna like this one.
