Similar to the other Ruger Precision Rifles, this model sports a free-floated, cold hammer-forged 4140 chrome-moly steel barrel with 5R rifling for minimum bullet upset. Minimum bore and groove dimensions and a centralized chamber deliver enhanced accuracy, longevity and ease of cleaning. The barrel length is 20 inches, with a 1:7 twist rate that stabilizes for long-for-caliber projectiles.

All Ruger Precision Rifles come with a left-folding stock with adjustable comb height and length of pull, as well as an ergonomic pistol grip and a Precision Rifle handguard, all of which can be adjusted with AR-style components. Also included is a Ruger Precision Rifle Hybrid Muzzle Brake, a 20 MOA scope base and a Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger with a pull weight range between 2.25 and 5 pounds.

MSRP for the Ruger Precision Rifle in 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem is $1599.
