Ruger recently announced the release of its newest Custom Shop offering, the Super GP100 Competition revolver. Chambered in 9mm, the eight-round Custom Shop GP100 features a factory-tuned action. Improved ergonomics help make this wheelgun out-of-the-box competition ready.

Ruger Super GP100 Competition

The Custom Shop GP100 revolver features polished and optimized internal. It comes with a centering boss on the trigger and centering shims on the hammer. These features result in a smooth, double-action trigger pull and crisp, consistent let-off. An adjustable rear sight and quick-change fiber-optic front sight create rapid target acquisition.

The half-lug, 6-inch sleeve and shroud barrel utilizes contour for fast manual ejection. And 11-degree target crown helps deliver competition-grade accuracy. Aesthetic cuts in the barrel shroud and cylinder help reduce overall weight and improve balance. Reloading speeds up via cylinder and extractor cuts for moon clips. Additionally, the cylinder features heavy fluting, while reduced length decreases the overall mass, increasing rotational speed.

The frame, cylinder and barrel are made from stainless steel to increase durability and corrosion resistance. Utilizing the Super Redhawk action, the Super GP100 contains a two-spring lockwork arrangement. It provides an even, double-action cycle and reliable ignition.

Hand-polished Hogue wood grips, featuring a smooth finish, complement the revolver. The peg-style grip frame also easily accommodates custom Super Redhawk or GP100 grips.

The revolver ships in a waterproof, fitted hard case and includes three moon clips and moon clip unloading tool. A Ruger Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity, challenge coin, cleaning cloth, gun peg and decal round out the package.
