Davidson’s just announced of a highly embellished Government Model pistol, one sure to grab the attention Colt fans. A partnership between Colt and Baron Engraving, the resulting Samuel Colt Limited Edition 1911 becomes an instant collector.

The pistol utilizes the famed Series-70 design. Based on an O1911C Government Classic model, the pistol chambers the familiar .45 Auto cartridge.
Then Baron stepped in to make the pistol truly unique. It features elaborate scroll and vice acid etching on the top, left, and right side of the slide. Gold plating depicts the rampant pony logo. The top of the slide also includes a bust of Samuel Colt. The phrase “God Created Man, Colonel Colt Made Them Equal,” helps set off the package. Finally, the iconic “Onion Dome” and custom black pearlite grips, along with an extra set of double-diamond grips, round out the package.
