MSR 15 Competition & MSR 10 Competition HD

Both rifles feature an 18-inch carbon fiber wrapped stainless barrel. The result of a collaboration with PROOF Research, the barrel has a unique ported muzzle brake that lets you tune the recoil impulse. This stabilizes the muzzle for faster, more accurate follow-ups, Savage says.

In addition, the rifles come with a nickel-boron bolt carrier; custom-forged upper and lower receivers; non-reciprocating side charging handle; Magpul CTR buttstock; two-stage trigger; custom-length adjustable gas block; Hogue pistol grip; free-float handguard with M-LOK, anti-glare grooves and red QD sling; red ambidextrous selector, receiver end plate with QD mount, and removable mag well flare; and an ambidextrous magazine release.

Available in .223 Rem (30-round magazine capacity) and .224 Valkyrie (25-round capacity), the MSR 15 Competition has an overall length of 35.38-38.63 inches and weighs 7.90 pounds. The MSR 10 Competition HD comes in .308 Win. It measures 36.13-39.38 inches in OAL and is a little heavier at 9.05 pounds.
