The following is a press release from Shoot Like a Girl
Shoot Like a Girl (SLG) has been chosen as one of 30 most influential companies from GLOCK as part of GLOCK’s 30th Anniversary. For the honor, SLG will receive a hand-engraved, limited production GLOCK 17 Gen 4 pistol, which they are using in a fundraiser sweepstakes with the proceeds benefiting Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
“We are so thankful for this honor from GLOCK,” said Karen Butler, president, Shoot Like a Girl. “GLOCK has been by our side since our firearms launch three years ago and they share our mission to empower women to participate in shooting sports with confidence.”

As part of the celebration, GLOCK is giving SLG one of 30 hang-engraved, limited edition GLOCK 17 Gen4 pistols. Each of the thirty pistols has been uniquely engraved by one of five Master Engravers who have been certified by the Firearms Engravers Guild of America (FEGA) to commemorate the relationships cultivated during the company’s thirty-year history. The engraved G17 Gen4 pistols carry a limited production serial number and come with a certificate of authenticity signed by Mr. Gaston Glock.
SLG is using their gifted pistol as a sweepstakes fundraiser for Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Tickets are 1 for $10 or 3 for $20 and are available at the SLG Trailer at their events for the remainder of the year as well as via SLG Pro-Staff who can take orders. “It is especially rewarding to have the opportunity to give back, and we have chosen to donate this unique gun for a sweepstakes to raise money for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation,” said Butler. “RMEF was instrumental in our ability to launch the Shoot Like A Girl trailer, and we are doubly honored to be presented with the gun, and then give back to raise money for conservation. The efforts of RMEF ensure that we will secure habitats for future generations to enjoy the great outdoors and preserve our hunting heritage.”
