SIG Sauer just announced the award of its latest contract, a $7.5 million deal to provide ammunition to the Department of Homeland Security. The award sends rifle and pistol ammo to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers across the U.S.

SIG Sauer Ammunition Contract Loads
SIG Elite Match Grade rifle cartridges utilize optimized shell case metallurgy and premium primers. Engineered for precision auto-loading platforms, the loads feature a hollow point bullet and brass casing. The contract includes 77-grain .223 Rem. and 168-grain .308 Win.
The SIG Elite V-Crown JHP defensive rounds combine perfected material specifications and fined-tuned design specifications, including to SIG. It features a jacketed hollow pint cavity and coated nickel cartridges. The contract includes .357 Mag., .357 SIG, .380, .45 S&W and 9mm.
SIG Elite Ball FMJ matches SIG V-Crown ballistics for a more seamless transition from training to carry ammo. It features a metal jacketed bullet with a lead core and brass cartridges. The contract includes .45 Auto and 9mm.
Finally, SIG Law Enforcement Duty Ammo meets the specific demands of law enforcement professionals, according to SIG. It features a jacketed hollow point cavity, coated nickel cartridges and come sealed and waterproofed. The contract includes 230-grain .45 Auto +P, JHP.
