SIG Sauer recently announced a stunning upgrade to one of its most classic of firearms. The SIG P226-XFIVE Reserve takes the iconic P226 into a higher realm not seen before in a unique collection of fit and finish, components and features.

SIG P226-XFIVE Reserve Details

The new pistol features modern design and aesthetics, combined with the timeless performance and reliability of the P226 platform. The all-steel P226-XFIVE Reserve aims to deliver exceptional performance and precision, but in a sophisticated, luxury, high-grade pistol. To that end, the P226-XFIVE Reserve employs a high-gloss DLC polished frame and GridLOK high-polish grip panels. An integrated compensator helps reduce felt recoil. Meanwhile, a flat-face, three-way, fully adjustable trigger enables shooters to dial in the trigger to fit their preferences.

The pistol comes with solid iron sights, including suppressor-height XRay3 Day/Night Sights. They are fully adjustable, and the rear sight fits to a removable plate, enabling shooters to swap out the rear for a red dot optic. On the left side of the frame, shooters find the thumb rest for that go-fast grip. An extended slide release lever promotes a fast reload. Finally, the grips provide considerable bite to keep a firm shooting grip.
