Since its inception, SIG’s P320 FCU (fire control unit) has changed how people purchase a SIG Sauer pistol. Allowing for total modularity, the FCU has allowed shooters to build the firearm that fits them best. Part of this customization comes in the form of the different grip modules SIG offers for the P320. And now, the company adds another option—this time in black aluminum with removable polymer panels.
SIG Adds Aluminum Option to Selection of P320 Grip Modules
Constructed of black anodized aluminum alloy, the newest grip module from SIG is available in medium grip size. Keeping with the modularity of the P320 FCU, simply select this grip module, a slide, and a barrel and drop your FCU into it. Precision machined with a deep undercut and extended beavertail, the module offers an ergonomic and comfortable fit.
Just forward the trigger guard is a three-slot Picatinny rail for attaching a light or laser. The concealed carry-size grip module features removable black polymer grip panels and a medium black backstrap. In addition, the grip panels and backstrap feature texturing for an enhanced grip. Likewise, the front strap includes horizontal patterning to assist in a secure purchase while firing.
Dressing it Up Further
If you would like to dress your P320 up, the new grip module accepts the walnut grip panel set. As a result, your pistol will have a striking contrasting aesthetic by replacing the panels and backstrap.
It is important to note that SIG states on its website that this grip module does not work with the manual safety FCU. So, please make sure to take that into account when ordering.

The SIG Sauer P320 FCU (fire control unit) has seen dramatic popularity since its entrance on the market. For that reason, SIG has offered many different modular options for dialing in your pistol, exactly how you want it. Continuing on this theme are two new P320 grip modules from SIG, giving you the choice between an enhanced classic feel or hard, competitive use.
2 New SIG P320 Grip Modules
The more elegant of the two, the AXG Titanium Cerakote aluminum grip module provides a classic feel. Giving it an ergonomic and comfortable fit, the AXG is precision machined with deep undercuts and an extended beavertail. The AXG (Alloy X-Series Grip) metal grip module has a unique blend of style and shootability, in a classic metal frame pistol.
Simply drop your P320 FCU into the AXG and add your choice of slide and barrel. Specifically, the AXG will accept 9mm, .357 SIG and .40AUTO slide and barrel options. The size of the AXG matches the Carry XSeries and features removable black G-10 grip panels from Hogue and medium black back strap.
Next, the full-size pro-shooter DH3 grip module takes everything you love about the TXG tungsten-infused polymer grip module and makes it stick in your hand. Designed by pro shooter Daniel Horner, the DH3 is tailored for hard- competitive use. Much like adding skateboard tape to your grip, the DH3 takes that principle and inlays it, to prevent peeling. As a result, the texture remains more robust and durable and provides a similar texture of 320 grit sandpaper.
Utilizing a patent-pending process, SIG molds a tungsten-infused polymer into the DH3 TXG. For this reason, the grip module has the weight of steel but the flex of polymer. As with the AXG, simply drop in your P320 FCU and select a slide and you are ready to go. This is a full-size grip module and accepts the XFIVE or other full-size slide assembly.
The DH3 TXG includes an extended magwell and is only compatible with 17- and 21-round magazines with the magwell installed.
