SIG Sauer Now Producing P365 Manual Safety Pistol

When the SIG Sauer P365 hit the market, few could find anything bad to say. This subcompact pistol had accuracy, good controls and 10 plus one capacity. It also had a good trigger and excellent sights. However, it didn’t have a manual safety, which SIG just rectified by bringing out the P365 Manual Safety pistol.

This new model comes with all of the features of previous versions. This includes X-RAY3 sights, 10-round flush magazine and being rated for +P 9mm ammunition. This magazine capacity easily beats most other pistols in the subcompact category. Shooters can also pick up 12- and 15-round extended magazines for more 9mm capacity.

It also comes with black polymer grips featuring wrap-around texturing and front and rear serrations for manipulations. The grip design is also different from other subcompact pistols, providing excellent pointing ability, as well as comfort in shooting. However, one of the most interesting features is that SIG a used removable steel chassis frame held into a polymer grip

The P365 features a double-action trigger using a partially tensioned striker. It is then fully cocked and released via the trigger. A firing-pin block allows folks to carry it with a round in the chamber. However, the first P365 didn’t come with a manual safety, which many shooters prefer on a handgun.
