P938 STAND: Sig’s New Gun Honors Vets, First Responders

Sig Sauer has released its P938 STAND pistol designed to honor our country’s veterans and first responders.

Designed for concealed carry applications, the 9mm P938 STAND features a stainless steel slide engraved with the American flag with the word “STAND” on the ejection port side of the gun. The pistol also has custom black grips medallion embossed with a flag that looks like it’s in flight.

Other features on this micro-compact model include a stainless steel frame; three-inch barrel; ambidextrous safety; OAL of 5.9 inches; overall width of 1.1 inches; height of 3.9 inches and weight of 16 ounces. Meanwhile, the gun sports a single-action-only trigger and the company’s full-size Siglite night sights.

Sig Sauer teamed up with United Sporting Companies on the P938 STAND, and donate a portion of the proceeds from sales of the gun to organizations like Honored American Veterans Afield (HAVA) and Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS) to support injured veterans and families of fallen LEOs.

Supporting the Flag

It is important to us at Sig Sauer to find ways to work with service organizations like H.A.V.A. and C.O.P.S. in order to support our injured veterans and the families of fallen law enforcement officers. That commitment is at the very core of Sig Sauer’s DNA.”
