An outgrowth of the pistol-caliber MPX series, the modular MCX platform has turned heads ever since it was first introduced by Sig, and the latest Sig Sauer Rattler variants get our nod for “Gun of the Month” because of their reduced size.

Available in SBR and PSB variants with a thin folding stock and a pistol stabilizing brace, respectively, these bad boys sport 5.5-inch barrels and free-floating M-LOK forends.

The SBR variant has an MSRP of $2,727, while the PSB variant has an MSRP of $2,719.
