Sig Sauer Reveals Electro-Optics For 2015

For 2015, Sig Sauer has unveiled its new cutting-edge Electro-Optics lineup. New offerings include tactical rifle scopes, battle sights, red-dot/reflex sights and range finders.

The Tango 4 and Tango 6 scopes feature an illuminated reticle system, zero-lock adjustments and locking turrets. Both designs are housed in 30mm main tubes. The Tango 4 is a 4:1 first focal plane optic while the Tango 6 is a 6:1 HDX design. Reticle choices include the horseshoe dot, HellFire Triplex and MRAD/MOA configurations.

Sig Sauer’s new Bravo series of battle sights—Bravo 3, Bravo 4, Bravo 5—are compact, fixed-power optics that deliver wide ranges of view and reliable durability in the field. In fact, Sig claims the Bravo series offers a 42-percent greater field of view than any other battle sight on the market.

The Romeo 1 and Romeo 3 are open reflex sights set in durable magnesium housings that also offer a rear slot for co-witnessing your front sight during use. The units offer manual on/off controls as well as an auto-off feature intended to save battery life should the unit be left on by accident for extended periods. The micro reflex sights are designed for direct mounting to a handgun slide and will be offered in the future with Picatinny rail and KeyMod adapters. Similarly, Sig’s Romeo 5 and Romeo 7 optics are full-sized red-dot sights with manual brightness controls that are intended for use with sporting and AR-style rifles.

The company has also looked to revolutionize range-finder technology with the Kilo 1600. This 7×25-power unit can identify target distances out to 1,600 yards on reflective targets and more than 1,000 yards on trees and deer hide. The Kilo 1600 also features an ambient light sensor for automatic adjustment in low-light environments.
