Powered by solar cells directly on top of the optic housing, the optic also utilizes two AAA batteries. The Volta provides users the choice of which power source works best for their situation. If the AAA batteries powering the Volta run out, the unit automatically switches to solar power. In fact, the Volta can run off pure solar power without any batteries at all. It provides infinite daylight use, according to Sightmark.
Shooters can forget fumbling with reticle brightness while on the go. The Volta features an Eclipse Light Management System (ELMS). It automatically adjusts the brightness of the reticle based on the light of the surrounding environment. A popular 2 MOA red dot recticle provides 1/2 MOA adjustments. Also featuring a covered design for added protection, the Volta adds durability from a scratch-resistant and anti-reflective lens coating.
Volta red dots also feature a single side access to both windage and elevation adjustments. An adjustable mount height, unlimited eye relief, digital switch brightness controls, wide operating temperature and shockproof design round out the features. Lastly, the Volta ships with a rubber cover, absolute co-witness and low Picatinny mount. For more information, visit sightmark.com.
