SK Customs Adds the Pascual Orozco 1911 to “La Revolución” Series

Known for its theme-based 1911 series, SK Customs expands its “La Revolución” series with the Pascual Orozco. The new addition joins the Pancho Villa and Venustiano Carranza, which date back to November 2022 and July 2023, respectively. As with the previous 1911 models, the Pascual Orozco is available in a limited edition run of only 300 pistols.

The Pascual Orozco uses the Colt 1911 Full Size Government Model as its canvas to herald Orozco’s natural military leadership. The revolutionary went against the Porfirio Díaz dictatorship and was named Jefe Revolucionario (Revolutionary Leader) in October 1910.

Chambered in .38 Special, the limited-edition pistol features a highly polished royal blue finish. Likewise, selective silver plating details Orozco’s victories and a depiction of the “Monument to the Revolution” in Mexico City. Adding to the overall aesthetic are silver controls and pins, as well as custom Kirinite grips embedded with 24k gold peso medallions.

The left side of the slide highlights “Cańon de Mal Paso Enero 1911” with a depiction of Orozco on horseback with his army. A Cannas Lily—native to Mexico—frames the illustration, which features silver plating for a striking visual. Likewise, on the frame, just below the slide, are the words “Ahí te van las hojas, mándame más tamales.”

The quote translates to, “Here are the wrappers, send me more tamales,” which is a notorious saying from Orozco. This statement accompanied Orozco’s orders that dead soldiers be stripped and the uniforms sent to President Díaz.

Likewise, just forward of this is a depiction of revolutionary fighters in Orozco’s camp in silver plating. Joining the illustration is a silver-plated ribbon reading, “Ciudaded Juárez, Chihuahua.” As with the left side, a Cannas Lily frames the scene.
